Refund policy


At MAISON ELVAR, every piece is created with care, precision, and a considered aesthetic. If your purchase doesn't meet your expectations for any reason, we offer a simple and respectful returns process — designed with the same clarity and quiet confidence that defines our brand.

I. RETURN CONDITIONS

We accept returns and exchanges on products purchased directly through our website within 30 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The product is unused and free from damage
  • The product is unwashed, unworn, and unaltered
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging are intact
  • The return request is made within the 30-day period

After 30 days, we are unfortunately unable to offer a return or exchange.

Non-returnable products

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned:

  • Intimate garments
  • Underwear or similar items

These terms are offered in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

II. HOW TO START A RETURN

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for your return or exchange
  • Photos (in the case of a complaint or damage)

MAISON ELVAR reserves the right to request proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email. Our team will guide you through the process with clarity and professionalism.

III. EXCHANGES

If you'd like to exchange an item for a different size or colour (subject to availability), please contact us: 📩 care@maisonelvar.com

Exchanges follow the same conditions and timeframes as our returns policy.

IV. RETURN POSTAGE

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked postage service or postal insurance, particularly for higher-value items. MAISON ELVAR cannot guarantee receipt of returns sent without tracking.

V. REFUNDS

Once your return has been received and inspected, you'll receive a confirmation email letting you know:

  • That the item has arrived
  • Whether the return has been approved or declined

For approved returns, the amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Processing time

Refunds are typically processed within 2–3 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider. If you haven't received your refund after this period, please contact us at: 📩 care@maisonelvar.com

VI. DAMAGED OR FAULTY PRODUCTS

If you receive a damaged or faulty product, please let us know within 48 hours of delivery: 📩 care@maisonelvar.com

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damage
  • The outer packaging and postage label

We use the carrier's timestamps and tracking information when assessing each case. While we ask that you report transit damage within 48 hours so we can resolve it quickly, this does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

VII. IMPORTANT SIZING INFORMATION

Due to variations in production and regional sizing standards, the size shown on a garment's label may differ from the size ordered. You will, however, always receive the size you selected at checkout. This is not considered a fault or defect.
